Captured Time
Vladimir Vaskin is an unusual photographer. He shoots with the largest analog camera in Russia, which he made with his own hands, and immediately develops the prints in his home photo lab. For him it is not just a passion, but a way to stop time, to capture the world and the people in it, to preserve and transmit these images to the future. In today's world, however, this may not be enough, as such art requires a lot of time, patience and money. And so a young girl arrives at Vaskin's studio with her family to pose for a portrait, but everyone quickly begins to run out of patience...

Eva was born in Moscow, Russia and all her childhood she dreamed of going to theatrical school. She liked to "try on" the characters and destinies of different people and create her own. After school she didn't get into acting school, but entered HSE university in Moscow to study Media Communications and decided that that was not an obstacle. All her life she has been learning to create images through painting, music, theater and photography, but the desire to do all that together overpowered, and she realized that she wanted to make films. So she turned the media program into some kind of a "film school" and started making documentaries, because that's the closest thing to studying human.
