After the success of the first two editions, the association "Capreae Sirenum Tellus" organizes the third edition of Capri International Film Festival, which will take place on the Island of Capri from 12 to 16 October 2022, at the International Multifunctional Center. As well as on the island we welcome visitors from all over the world, at the Capri Movie I.F.F. will be welcome all filmmakers who want to share this experience on the big screen with us. Our aim is to support, promote, present, project and enhance emergent and consolidated filmmakers through our annual Festival.
All selected projects will be published and promoted individually on our social platforms and websites, and we will be very careful to protect their improper dissemination.
In order to give more support to the short films and their world the press office of the festival will promote interviews with filmmakers and other figures who contribute in the making of the short films highlighting the idea, the project and the figures themselves (actors, director, etc.).
We will project the short films to a diverse audience on the big screen in order to endorse filmmakers in developing their careers, and our public event on the island of Capri will be supported by a strong communication plan.
We consider each event an opportunity for networking with artists, industry figures and the public itself, because inspiration also hides behind a different word or a new voice.
We will involve each of our physical and digital viewers in all festival events.

Dopo il successo delle prime due edizioni, l’associazione “Capreae Sirenum Tellus” organizza la terza edizione del Capri Movie International Film Festival, che si svolgerà sull’Isola di Capri dal 12 al 16 Ottobre 2022, presso il Centro Polifunzionale Internazionale. Come sull’isola accogliamo visitatori da ogni dove, al Capri Movie I.F.F. saranno benvenuti tutti i filmmaker che vorranno condividere con noi quest’esperienza sul grande schermo. Il nostro obiettivo è supportare, promuovere, presentare, proiettare e valorizzare i filmmaker attraverso il nostro Festival annuale.
Tutti i progetti selezionati verranno pubblicati e promossi individualmente sulle nostre piattaforme social e siti web tutelando l’impropria diffusione.
L’ufficio stampa del Festival promuoverà interviste a filmmaker ed altre figure che concorrono a realizzare i cortometraggi mettendone in luce l’idea, il progetto, e le figure che vi partecipano (attori, etc.), attraverso i nostri canali per supportare i loro cortometraggi.
Proiettiamo sul grande schermo i cortometraggi ad un pubblico diversificato al fine di supportare i filmmaker nello sviluppo della loro carriera, e il nostro evento pubblico sull’isola di Capri sarà accompagnato da un forte progetto di comunicazione.
Consideriamo ogni evento un’opportunità di networking con artisti, figure del settore e lo stesso pubblico, perché l’ispirazione si nasconde anche dietro una parola diversa o una voce nuova. Coinvolgeremo ognuno dei nostri spettatori fisici e digitali in tutti gli eventi del festival.

After this procedure you must send us a copy of the receipt and the short film with a WeTransfer to the e-mail address corto@caprimovie.com
In both cases the specification of the reason is “2022 Capri Movie International Film Festival call for applications”. Those who will be selected among the finalists of the Festival will be notified by an email at the address provided at the time of registration.
The selected works will be presented and screened during the 4 days of the event, the first of which will be the inauguration and the last will be dedicated to the awards with the winners chosen by our Jury.
This year the artistic direction was entrusted to John Di Leva Halpern, an Italian-American director and performative artist

Coloro che verranno selezionati tra i finalisti del Festival, saranno avvisati a mezzo mail all’indirizzo fornito al momento dell’iscrizione.
Le opere selezionate verranno presentate e proiettate durante le 4 giornate dell’evento di cui la prima sarà di inaugurazione e l’ultima dedicata alle premiazioni con i vincitori scelti dalla nostra Giuria.
Quest’anno la direzione artistica è stata affidata a John Di Leva Halpern, regista e artista performativo italo americano.
SECTIONS
The Festival is divided into the following sections:
- Sguardi Animati: Italian and foreign works;
- Sguardi di Sfida: Italian and foreign works that express thoughts aimed at overcoming real, imaginary or socio-cultural boundaries;
- Sguardi Internazionali: only foreign works;
- Sguardi Nazionali: only Italian works.

SEZIONI
Il Festival si articola nelle seguenti sezioni:
- Sguardi Animati: opere italiane e straniere;
- Sguardi di Sfida: opere italiane e straniere che esprimono pensieri atti al superamento dei confini reali, immaginari o socio-culturali;
- Sguardi Internazionali: opere solo straniere;
- Sguardi Nazionali: opere solo italiane.
There are two juries:
The first led by a technical director will be composed of members of the organizing associations.
The second Jury, authoritative and sectoral, made up of figures from the world of cinema, will assign an institutional prize of the Festival and a cash prize, each of € 1000 € to the following winners:
- Best Short Sguardi Animati;
- Best Short Sguardi di Sfida;
- Best Short Sguardi Internazionali;
- Best Short Sguardi Nazionali.

GIURIA E PREMI
Le giurie sono due:
La prima guidata da un direttore tecnico sarà composta da membri delle associazioni organizzatrici.
La seconda Giuria, autorevole e di settore, composta da figure del mondo del cinema, assegnerà un premio istituzionale del Festival e un premio in denaro, ciascuno di euro 1000€ ai seguenti vincitori:
- Miglior Corto Sguardi Animati;
- Miglior Corto Sguardi di Sfida;
- Miglior Corto Sguardi Internazionali;
- Miglior Corto Sguardi Nazionali;
