Dick Griffith is an adventurer’s adventurer. Over his life, he has crossed 6,000 miles of the Arctic solo. Starvation, drowning, bears, foxes, blinding storms, frostbite - the list of what has tried to kill Dick is long. And all of it has failed. Now, at 89, he takes one last whitewater rafting trip through the Grand Canyon.

Director Biography - Andy Trimlett

Andy Trimlett is a documentary filmmaker with a Master’s degree in Middle East Studies from the University of Washington. He is an Emmy Award-winning producer with over twelve years of experience producing for PBS stations. He has worked on productions in Los Angeles, Budapest, Vienna, the Grand Canyon, Alaska, Amman and Jerusalem, among other places.
