Jonathan Levy is a writer and director. He’s been a drummer for many years, touring everywhere from Key West up the coasts to Fairbanks, Alaska along with briefly famous appearances with The Roots and, strangely enough, on America's Got Talent. 'Unleashed' was his first film as a writer/director and 'Camping Out' is his next.
Camping Out was originally a short play I wrote last year that was produced by The Collective NY (http://www.thecollective-ny.org) in their annual C10 play festival this past November and December. The poster image is a still from that production. It had an amazing reception and this script is the adaption and I believe film is the format it was meant for as their are opportunities to get even deeper into each character's psyche. I'm really excited about this project and look forward to the process of making it come to life!
