I think the world is built on ideas, and let’s not turn the ideas complicated. This short movie is like a Haiku to me. I tried to show a simple storyline briefly. In my opinion, it shouldn’t be necessary to add big accidents to a movie. The movie can be sweet like a memory, that one remembers from her/his childhood, as simple and brief as it is. That’s why I decided to make “camion” like a very short poem that shows pure feelings and moments.
The process of making a movie with children is like an emotional journey, we laugh and cry together, and makes us to be grown-ups.
I think, the definition of ownership for children from 7 to 9 is not what it means to adults and that is why it becomes dramatic; if they like something they take it. In adulthood boundaries like possession issue prevent us from doing the same. I believe it would be better if we could share what we have with each other.
I see the world like one of the well-known HIKUS:
“An old silent pond
A frog jumps into the pond
Splash!
Silence again!”
