Camino
An autobiographical film composed of diaristic scenes filmed during college and the months following graduation I spent traveling the United States with my friend living out of a Subaru Outback. This film is a look into my struggle to find purpose and reckon with the past.

Leo Deer is a self-taught filmmaker from Dayton, OH with a degree in Physics. In 2022, he released “Life on a Boat”, a found footage complete visual album of The Avalanches’ 2000 record, "Since I Left You". Later that year he made the student film, "Bardo". After graduating college, he documented his time traveling throughout the United States. Parts of that diaristic footage would become his 2023 film, "Camino".
