Camila Murúa Solís is a Chilean artist and animation filmmaker, currently studying the Master in Artistic Production at the Universitat Politècnica de València. Since 2019 she has been studying and experimenting with experimental photographic processes. In 2023 she began her work in direction and animation, making her first animated video clip Nubes together with the band Ciclo Violeta and Salares, which has been officially selected in the animated video clip category at the 13th Chilemonos International Animation Festival (Chile) and the 13th edition of the CARTÓN International Short Animation Festival (Argentina).

During her postgraduate studies, she is developing an animated short film called Tsunami, which is based on transgenerational experiences and stories linked to fear with the earthquakes and tsunamis that occurred in Chile. It has already been selected in the WORK IN PROGRESS category (new talents) of the 17th Edition of the Animadeba International Animation Festival (Spain).
