Camellias at Christmas
When famed New York theatre director, Camille “Millie” Stevens Stone has her life left in financial and social ruin, she is forced to return to her childhood home and the only asset she has left, a run down theatre in East Texas left to her by her dearly departed mother. Now Camille must fight to keep the theatre she didn’t know she wanted and the relationships she didn’t know she needed.

Heidi-Marie Ferren is a Cherokee/Sioux-Polish-American writer who originally hails from the wilds of Benton County, Arkansas; land of Walmart, Razorbacks and streams of chicken feathers spilling off trucks from Tyson Foods. She is an award-winning actor, writer, content creator and producer who has directed and written for Comedy Central Stages and is the producer, director and head writer for Defiance Production’s award-winning sketch comedy series. Heidi recently served as a Showrunner’s Assistant and Writer’s Assistant to Showrunner/ Creator, Jim O’Doherty (THIRD ROCK FROM THE SUN, GROUNDED FOR LIFE) developing two new comedy pilots. She is a producer and script editor for the highly anticipated series, This Boy’s Vida: Made in America, which premiered at the New York Latino Film Festival and is the other half of “The Blonde Jokes” duo, which was a finalist in sketch comedy for NBC’s BRING THE FUNNY. After graduating Summa Cum Laude from SMU with her BFA and the University of Delaware’s P.T.T.P. with her MFA, Heidi moved to NYC to serve our Armed Forces as the last and longest reigning Miss USO, performing and speaking across the globe as an ambassador and steward of gratitude. She had audience with 4 U.S. President’s and performed and lectured in over 1,000 venues including CitiField & Madison Square Garden. As a former foster kid and survivor of homelessness and incest, Heidi has passionately dedicated herself to helping young people use their story for good. She is a CASA dedicated to supporting foster children and keeping them out of human trafficking rings through incredible organizations like Brave Global.
