"Calling Father Ron" was inspired by my close friend Ron Cattany. I have always been fascinated by his vast knowledge of Denver history and Catholic theology. As I listened to him speak to faithful people in churches I kept thinking to myself "this is a man who has learned so much in his life as a priest" only having come to find out he chose priesthood late in his life. It is hard to believe anyone would want to give up a promising career to start over anew less than 10 years from getting to retire comfortably, and to become a priest of all things. This short documentary about Father Ron Cattany is the account of a man so deeply in love with his faith he would give up everything to pursue it with amazing courage.
