Born March 27, 2005, in the small town of Del Rio, Texas, Paul Fernando Hackemeser started pursuing media in the 9th grade with his Audio Visual Production class. With his family mainly consisting of educators and engineers Paul’s sudden passion was a surprising change. He was raised catholic, however, with the passing of his mother in 2015 his views on religion are complicated. Paul comes from Germanic/Swedish heritage as well as indigenous Mexican. Today Paul is continuing to pursue his passion and working hard to achieve his goal of making an impression on the film industry.
This film was made in order to honor my late mother, Teresita De Jesus Caldera Muñoz Hackemesser, to share my experiences and to show my love for her by incorporating her memory into my passion for film. I truly think that she lives on in the people she’s inspired, including me, and this is a way of saying thank you by telling her story and experiences through my eyes.
