I Didn't Know Cairo Was That Big
Indonesia, Germany, Venezuela.. They had a long journey behind them. Three people from three different continents, chose of free will to spend their lives in a fourth utterly diverse continent. This documentary reveals the everyday life of three expats who came to Egypt for various purposes.
The film depicts the city’s impact on them and their adaptation to life in Egypt, along with how they themselves contributed to influencing some of their fellow Egyptian friends. Instead of watching them talk about what they do on a daily basis, you’ll get to watch them doing it.
In a non-traditional documentary approach, you’ll get to comprehend why those expats chose to settle in Egypt when native Egyptians decided to leave their land; a movie with shades of culture diversity, lifestyles variety, and a social inclusiveness; the similarities between the cultures lurk in the places least expected.
