I am a filmmaker from Beverly, Massachusetts and a recent graduate of Emerson College with a degree in Film and TV Production as well as a History minor. My passion for storytelling goes as far back as my earliest childhood memories creating stories in my head and playing them out with action figures on my living room floor. Films such as Star Wars, Harry Potter, and Pirates of the Caribbean introduced me to the endless, other-worldly possibilities that movie-making offers. It's since then that my creative mind has expanded and matured into what it is today. I believe that storytelling is an essential part of society and is something that can be traced back to the earliest of civilizations. As an active studier of history, I see filmmaking as the only tangible method of time-travel we possess today and value it as the ultimate tool for me to explore the stories, worlds, and people of the past, future, and present. It is through my art that I wish to inspire the next generation of storytellers as so many inspired me.
Cadillac: A Mobster Fairy Tale is a true passion project and labor of love for me. Bringing together my admiration of classic gangster films and my strong connection with Italian-American culture, this film is one that has been developing in my head for many years and it's surreal to see it finally brought to life. Some of my earliest childhood memories took place when visiting my grandmother Mary in the North End of Boston, which is where this film takes place and was shot entirely. Helming such a production in the streets where my father and his family grew up for many generations was an inspiring, full-circle experience for me that I'm so excited to share with others.
