JULIE REGINE DOLAN is a comedy writer/filmmaker trained through The Second City Film School in Chicago. She is a seasoned sketch writer taking her material to film. Her graduating horror/comedy short film script, The Clipboard, has received many accolades.
Julie’s sketch comedy has won contests and been selected for many fests on the bare bone stages of Chicago. Character strong and narrative driven, Julie’s sketch writing skills and improvisational training through The Second City have been the foundation for her success as a short form and feature writer.
Julie credits her family of nine and the comedy greats for her love of humor: Jerry Lewis, Abbott & Costello, Fawlty Towers, the Carol Burnett Show and early days of Saturday Night Live.
She wishes she wrote The Jerk, Superbad and Indiana Jones.
Caddy Crush was inspired by that one female caddy that appeared briefly in Caddyshack many years ago. Remember when she pulled her cap off to reveal her long hair? I never forgot it. Introducing Ada Smal, a driven teen closed off to matters-of-the-heart or so she thinks.
