Cynthia Kern OBrien is a 1st place NFPW (National Federation of Press Women) and 1st Place CPW (California Press Women) Award Winner. She is the Author of Marky the Magnificent Fairy, A Disability Story of Courage, Kindness and Acceptance. She is also the Author of her debut picture book series, “A True Story by Granny”.

OBrien finds inspiration for her writing in her grandchildren and their worldview, aspiring to teach young readers caring and kindness for people and animals of all stripes.
