CRIME SPREE MAYHEM

This screenplay is adapted from a novel I completed earlier this year. I am currently in the process of having it produced. It will serve as a proof of concept for a larger project, in film or serial format, and to promote the novel itself.

Imagine a world where criminals can pay a weekly fee to stay out of jail…and in the process become celebrities.

In this world, a criminal’s fee is determined by the quantity and severity of the crimes they have been convicted of. Some criminals on the fee program begin committing even more crimes in order to raise the funds to pay their fees. But the more crimes they commit, the higher their fee rises, resulting in a vicious cycle. Because of their extraordinary lifestyles, a number of these criminals are propelled into stardom and come to be known as “criminal rockstars”...
