Aged 10 – 19? or thereabouts. Make a short film (Maximum 4 minutes)make a film about anything or why not about your experiences from the early stages of the Coronavirus onwards. It can be serious or not so serious. Film it on any mobile phone or device. Interview your loved ones either in person or via face-time, link images of your favourite places, talk about how you feel about it all, interview your friends via face-time.Or maybe make your own music video if you play an instrument or have a piece of music in mind. Entries open April 1st to June 30th.
Prizes for age group categories.

Kent Film Foundation is a charity, although we hope to announce some prizes for each category, these are as yet undecided. However each winner from the group sections shall receive a winner's certificate signed by a Celebrity/VIP from the world of film. On top of this for the winner in the 18+ category, our partner Violet Pictures shall be offering some one-to-one mentoring sessions and membership to the Network South East professional filmmakers hub.

All films submitted by under 18 years old on date of submission must supply a signed and scanned (or posted) letter of permission by a parent or carer to Kent Film Foundation.
All people being interviewed in the films must sign release forms which will be sent from Kent Film Foundation or have parental signature if under 18.
Filmmakers should be Thanet based or from the wider Kent base, any other young filmmakers are welcome to submit their films for inclusion but our focus as a charity is on screening films made by youth in Kent and films made by young people out of our region shall not be included for award consideration.
