Aged 10 – 19?

Make a short film (Maximum 4 minutes) about your experiences with the Coronavirus. It can be serious or funny. Film it on any mobile phone or device. Interview your loved ones either in person or via face-time, link images of your favourite places, talk about how you feel about it all. Or maybe make your own music video if you play an instrument or have a piece of music in mind.

Prizes for each age group category.

Awards & Prizes

Kent Film Foundation is a charity, although we hope to announce some prizes for each category, these are as yet undecided. However, each winner from the group sections shall receive a winner's certificate. On top of this for the winner in the 17-19 category, our partner Violet Pictures shall be offering some one-to-one mentoring sessions and membership to the Network South East professional filmmakers hub.

Rules & Terms

All films submitted by those under 18 years old on the date of submission must supply a signed and scanned (or posted) letter of permission by a parent or carer to Kent Film Foundation.

All people being interviewed in the films must sign release forms which will then be provided to Kent Film Foundation or have a parental signature if under 18.
