COCOON

Yu Xue, a girl who likes to spread rumours to others behind their backs, spreads malicious rumours about the deceased after she finds out that her classmate has committed suicide. Then she be forced to enter her own COCOON. Gradually Yu Xue is unable to distinguish between dream and reality, when she receives a message from the last deceased, who tells her what she should do to abort everything. The man-dog from the dream world runs into Yu Xue's real world, and Yu Xue's dream and reality appear together. Just when Yu Xue thinks that doing everything as it is told will bring everything to an end, time reverses. She pays the price for her actions.

Director Biography - Xuanming Shi

Shi Xuanming is a young director studying in XJTLU. He determined to be a director in high school and he directed "Warm Land"(documentary) and " The Grand Mansion"(drama) with his schoolmates.
He entered XJTLU in 2019 and kept improving his skills of directing and storytelling. As a film learner from 2019 to 2022, he wrote and directed fictions "Baby Blue", "Grey", and "Working For You". "Cocoon" is his final year project in college.
