My name is Darrius Johnson, and I am a Los Angeles Film School student from Memphis TN. I want to go by Darrius Underestimated in the industry because I feel like I am not capable of many things people do not know or would not believe that I can do. I want other people not to limit themselves because we tend to underestimate ourselves the most, so I want to turn this term into something positive and thought-provoking. We can surprise ourselves at things we have doubted in our minds that we could not accomplish while exceeding all expectations. I suffered from depression/anxiety and thought there was no way out until I came across 25 and counting films/tv shows from Marvel. MCU films helped me escape my life for a moment to help sway me from thinking so negatively all the time, opening up my imagination to conjuring up plenty of ideas of my own. I want to tackle many genres of films/TV, and I am currently looking for work on productions to gain more hands-on experience in the field.
