The Musical journey

I have introduced myself in creative field as a theatre artist in 2009. Gradually acting in various theatre groups in Kolkata and north 24 parganas including many workshops and international show. All together doing theatre in 2012 I've acted one of a TV serial broadcasting in ETV Bangla. But sometimes I realized that theatre is not a suitable medium to manifest my say and my feelings, so I started practicing cinema in 2013 . I have no any institutional qualification, I mean I m not such trained film maker, I used to work independently. in 2015 worked as an actor in a feature film "aam sutra" directed by swarup Kr Mandal. My first directed short fiction named "Chaddanam sahar/Pen-name City" which is screened in Bhumisuta Film Festival Kolkata in 2016. All together with my film practice I have worked and till now working as an cinematographer and editor. In 2016 to 2017 worked in two govt short documentaries organized by Sarva Shiksha Mission Howrah India. First one on "Ranapa dance" (folk dance) in which worked as Director and editor , And in second one worked as a Director ,DOP and editor. Otherwise I've a keen interest to work in various type of documentary. In 2016 worked in a documentary " The Songs Of Neel" as a researcher and cinematographer organized by Sangeet Natak academy and an Add film shoot for tailorspin.com . Also notable work as an editor on a Short Fiction based on an actual events in Northern India. Named" Petrichor chapter 1 angst" directed by Satyajit Halder which is screened in Kolkata film festival 2016 and various festivals to the globe. and worked as an editor in "Make Feel Love" a documentary about leprocy of puruliya directed by Swapnadeep Sengupta. In 2017 worked as an editor and dop in a Tele film named "samantaral" released in Rupashi Bangla director Swapnadeep Sengupta. In the year 2017 I have shoot some music videos, one of them is " Mohiruho" directed by arindam dey. In which worked as a dop,editor and poster designer. Another one is " A ballad of Anna" a story of a mentally challenged woman. Direction,DOP and edited by me. From the year 2017 I have also took a project on climate change, "Gach/Tree , fight for existence", which is till now going on.
