CHAMPION

Ismail is the elder of a Chechen village, and his word is law for all local residents. Ismail is a champion of old traditions and does not tolerate anything "new-fangled". One day, his grandson Rustam calls his grandfather and tells him that he has just won the Wrestling Championship and will soon come home. Ismail is very proud of his grandson - he will continue their family traditions, where all the men became champions in wrestling! But when Rustam arrives in the village, it turns out that the hard-of-hearing Ismail misheard his grandson's words: he won the Barista Championship, not the Wrestling Championship. And now he has come home to open a modern coffee shop in the village! This is a terrible insult to Ismail, because his grandson has broken family traditions! He drives him away, forbidding him to show up in the village. Rustam is forced to obey the word of the elder of the family. But before leaving, he decides to have a frank talk with his grandfather...
