This is the 18th Christian European Visual Media Association Film Festival which takes place every other year in September. The (biennial) Film Festival is held alongside the annual CEVMA conference which takes place in countries around Europe.

The CEVMA Film Festival is dedicated to encourage Christians in visual media to produce positive, powerful, inspiring, and transforming stories in features, documentaries, animations, short clips, etc. CEVMA's Jewel Awards recognizes achievement, excellence in production and content and the sharing of Christian values..

It is a platform for Christians to present their visual art, network with others, and find distribution opportunities for their productions. The CEVMA Film Festival also celebrates the power of storytelling that can impact the lives of people and ‘meet’ people in their own culture,. CEVMA challenges creatives to think differently and use visual media to spread messages of hope and forgiveness.

The CEVMA Film Festival welcomes any Christian producer(s) in visual media to compete in one or more categories of the Festival. Student filmmakers are especially encouraged to apply. The 2023 CEVMA Film Festival will welcome any film, documentary, animation, clip, etc., that has been produced after 1 August, 2020.
