CENSORED episode 5 - MIB

CHAPTER 5 “MiB”: Ruben flees with his wife Mary, under the guise of an impromptu vacation, and takes her to Lake Tahoe as he’s always promised.
Paul arrives at the lake house and discovers Steven’s mess. Hot on his tail, he figures out that Steven has tracked down one of Hermann’s old colleagues, “Victor Raswosky”, from an old photograph. Indeed, as Paul continues his hunt, Steven breaks into the Raswosky house, only to find Victor comatose, tended to by his wife Amber. She tells him about their life on the run, and about rumors of pale, nameless agents and their murderous tendencies.
Ruben takes Mary to dinner and returns to their hotel late that night. Taking the elevator, Ruben feels the same malaise suffered during his first encounter with the Men in Black. He stops the lift before their floor and sends Mary for some water, taking the stairs to secure the floor above them as soon as she turns the corner. From the stairwell, he sees another pair of pale, suited fellows standing in front of their bedroom and engages them, weapon and badge in hand.
A gunfight ensues, turning into a hotel-spanning shootout as the Men in Black, Mary and Ruben duel their way through the halls. Eventually defeating the agents, Ruben rescues Mary and they drive off just as the police arrive. Expecting an APB to be placed on them, Ruben pulls over and tells Mary they should split up, fearing for her safety. She refuses at first, but trusts him enough to accept and keep their unborn baby safe. As they separate, he hears his name on the radio as a wanted man.
Steven sleeps on Amber’s couch. The next morning, she directs him towards a lonely patch of desert where Victor used to work called “Sedona”, where he might find more answers. He thanks her and heads further south, Paul still following him. Steven arrives at the odd, sandy field but finds only the rusted remnants of some long-abandoned, incomplete facility… He ends up spending the night there, forced to seek refuge from a surprise sandstorm.
As day breaks the next morning, Paul finally catches up with Steven and is about to confront him, when the Men in Black attack again! Steven is sniped as he emerges from his shelter and as he lays there bleeding, Isabelle appears to him. He loses consciousness and falls through space and time... Paul barely escapes, managing to kill both agents. He drives all night and rushes home, all while desperately trying to contact Ingrid and warn her of the danger.
Unable to reach her, Paul returns to his empty home and miserably prepares to flee alone... To his surprise, just as he’s preparing his “go-bag”, he sees Ingrid pulls into the driveway! He hurries downstairs to meet her but, just as Paul reaches the front door, a masked intruder appears to holds him at gunpoint. Ingrid hears him on the other side and pushes the door open to tell him she’s pregnant and doesn’t want their relationship to end, unaware of his situation. As a million thoughts fly through his head, Paul can only think of her safety and tells her it isn’t a good time to talk, and that she should leave.
She walks away, heartbroken.
Devastated to have had to sabotage his relationship with the love of his life, he turns to the intruder, ready to die… but the man reveals himself to be Ruben! Initially convinced that Paul is responsible for the Men in Black and their attacks, Ruben eventually changes his mind when Paul points to his bullet riddled car. Ruben realizes that Paul too is being hunted, and they drive away together in search of a solution.
