Director Biography - Yunnian Han

Han Yunnian was born in Fujian, China, and graduated from Fujian University of Technology. After graduation, he engaged in graphic design. After 2012, he worked as a screenwriter. He has successively completed the original screenplay "Broken Tail", "Encourage Learning", "Crows On Tombstones", "Immortal Sea", etc. The short film 'Cancer' was his first directed work.

Director Statement

A year ago, I shared the story of this short film "Cancer" with people around me, and after listening to it, everyone said: Guo Ming (the villain in the story) did nothing wrong. That was the moment I made up my mind to make this short film.
Yes, if we were in Guo Ming's shoes, we would have done the same thing. I would like to know what people in other countries would do.
In addition, the brave women in the film moved me and gave me strength.
