CALL OUT

CALL OUT is a short film that reveals how helping our nation starts by helping our immediate neighbors. Niyi, a young man in his earlier twenties was going on a visit to his Uncle's place and on getting to the junction of the described address he called his Uncle who earlier told him to call him when he gets the junction. After the call, he continued his little journey and he met his Uncle who already left his house to pick him up. On their way home, Niyi and his Uncle were getting acquainted again after a very long time suddenly an issue ensued as they were faced with a challenge of helping a teenage girl, a victim on the verge of sexual abuse by two rascals. Niyi was able to compel his adamant Uncle to help. On getting there, the teenage girl happens to be the Uncle's niece, Niyi's sister.

Director Biography - ADEBISI ADEMOLA

Adebisi Ademola Olalekan, a young and versatile Nigerian Filmmaker is a graduate of Cell Biology and Genetics in the University of Lagos, Nigeria. Driven by the passion of good visual storytelling; a tool that goes far and wide to impact all and sundry, He wrote, directed, shot and edited Call Out, a short film that uses patriotism as a tool against rape. Another is Doom & Safety, a minute short educative and entertaining film. Both films have been nominated for over 8 film festivals and showcases. His recent film is Thick and Thin, a short film that encourage good parenting even when their teenagers do the inevitable. He has other production credits for cinematography, editing and directing.
