As they confront their past and present, the film explores themes of love, memory, and identity. Each character's journey is intricately connected, offering a rich tapestry of emotional drama, family values, and friendship.

Director Biography - KARTHIK SHAAMALAN

Karthik Shaamalan is an acclaimed filmmaker, producer, writer, and cinematographer with over 14 years of experience in the Malaysian Tamil film industry. Renowned for his exceptional ability to portray profound human emotions through stunning visual aesthetics, Karthik has earned his place as one of the most celebrated storytellers of his generation.

He has directed more than 100 episodes of TV series, eight telemovies, ten short films, twelve music videos, five advertisements, and six feature films. His works have received widespread acclaim, earning him numerous accolades at prestigious international film festivals, including the Norway Tamil Film Festival, Spain Film Festival, and Puerto Rico Film Festival. Within Malaysia, his talent has been recognized with awards for Best Direction and Best Screenplay, further solidifying his reputation as a versatile and innovative filmmaker.

Karthik's latest feature, Adai Mazhai Kaalam, marked a breakthrough in his career, winning him the Best Director award at both the Toronto Tamil Film Festival and the Los Angeles Film Festival. The film also achieved the coveted "Most Rewatched Film" title on Netflix. Another of his works, The Farm: En Veettu Thottathil, received multiple nominations at the 30th Filem Festival Malaysia (FFM), where it won the Pelakon Wanita Harapan award.

Additionally, Karthik’s six years of experience as a cinematographer for Singapore Vasantham programs have enriched his artistic repertoire. His passion for storytelling and his commitment to elevating Malaysian cinema continue to captivate audiences worldwide, cementing his legacy as a visionary filmmaker.
