"Bye, bee!" - When we say goodbye to the bee, we are also saying "Bye!" to the rest of the (animal) world. How long can we play this game and show our children all the animals we know now?

Director Biography - Sophie Kalinowsky

Currently Sophie is studying animation at the Filmuniversity Babelsberg with a focus on 3D computer animation mixed with motion capture and puppetry. She is also a state certified graphic designer since 2014.

She lives in Berlin with her small family, loves playing board games and singing in a choir.

Director Statement

I was playing with these building blocks with my child and thought it might be a good scene for a film. The characters are inspired by the many animals you see in childrens books.

I hope that the future generations will have the chance to meet them all, not only in books or films. Without bees there would be no life on earth.
