Bye, bee!

"Bye, bee!" - When we say goodbye to the bee, we are also saying "Bye!" to the rest of the (animal) world. How long can we play this game and show our children all the animals we know now?

A loop made in Looom and After Effects, inserting 2D live animated scribbles into a real wooden playground.

Director Statement

I was playing with these building blocks with my child and thought it might be a good scene for a film. The characters are inspired by the many animals you see in childrens books.

I hope that the future generations will have the chance to meet them all, not only in books or films. Without bees there would be no life on earth.
