Director Statement

Sometimes the search for identity is found accidentally with people we don’t even know. Exchanging points of view on what is believed makes people ask themselves again in what they believe, which then forms their own identity.
The film “Burn Out” tells the story of Juju, a wandering spirit and the Grim Reaper who meet at the transit zone. The two who initially couldn’t understand each other, changed as time went by. The conversation between the two opened questions for each other, until both of them left the transit zone to complete Juju’s death process without any answers to the questions asked to themselves.
Hopefully by watching this film, we can be aware of the presence of the people around us, who might be able to pave the way for our journey in searching for our identity.
