Buoyancy
Rituals gather us together in shared experiences, providing comfort in chaos and connection within communities. Can they fluidly evolve with the passage of time, or do we allow them to sink into the past?
A simultaneously serene and surreal journey through Mannheim’s art nouveau Herschelbad, “Buoyancy” is a reflection upon ritual amid an exploration of spectacular architecture.

I am passionate about dance as a medium to explore moments in the human experience. I am interested in collaborative creative processes that employ reflection, discussion, and the sharing of personal stories and connection with a concept to then manifest as movement ideas. I aim to create art that resonates not only with the individuals involved, but also calls the viewer to contemplate their own personal relationships to the thematic material. I believe in the expansion of dance beyond the confines of a stage to allow for greater accessibility and the potential to spark exchange.
