Director Biography - Nicole DuPort

Nicole studied theater at UC Berkeley and Circle in the Square in New York. She has worked as an actress in Los Angeles for more than 10 years. BUDDY! is Nicole’s directorial debut. As an actress, Nicole can most recently be seen in LionsGate’s I CAN ONLY IMAGINE. Her television credits include GREY'S ANATOMY, NCIS, RIZZOLI & ISLES, THE LAST TYCOON and more. Nicole also wrote and produced the web series MY NAME IS BURNS.

BUDDY! is about a lost dog and a found friendship. It's a simple enough premise, but I wanted to make something fun and personal, that would resonate with audiences. Often the best way to do that is simply, sincerely, and with a sense of humor.
