Bryan
This is a story about Bryan, an overworked, sleep-deprived father and husband who is stuck between a rock and a hard place. Bryan and his husband, John, have been defaulting on several mortgages to pay for their daughter's medical expenses. As time went on, they started to default on medical payments to pay for their mortgages. They are now faced with two options: have their house foreclosed and save their daughter, or keep their house and have their daughter, Lisa, removed from the hospital, which will spell her death.
Just when all hope seems lost, Bryan is presented with an opportunity of a lifetime.

Gavin is a filmmaker from the southern tip of Texas, The Rio Grande Valley. Gavin believes that “everyone in the goddamn world has a story to tell. Why aren’t they?” He wishes to be an artistic medium for those who cannot express themselves on their own. Gavin sees the world from a gritty point of view, something he tries to convey in his art.
This story is something that I am deeply emotionally connected to. Life comes at you fast and sometimes, you act based on the moment. Bryan is a film about humanism. Have you ever tempted your greed? How far would you go to save the ones you love?
The overlaying theme that I was going for is that "normal," every day people can find themselves in outlandish situations and how I feel like they would handle themselves in these crazy scenarios.
