Brumbies of Kosciuszko
The Brumbies of Kosciuszko have established themselves within Australian culture. They personify the wilderness of the Australian alpine landscape, where they’ve made their home, and have even worked their way into Australia’s folklore in Banjo Paterson’s “The Man from Snowy River”. This film follows the herds of the Australian high country and documents some of the intricacies of their behaviour and their culture as they establish their herd hierarchy, and continue to make their home among the grassy plateau's of the alpine mountain range.

I'm an aspiring wildlife filmmaker from Australia. Having worked professionally as an environmental consultant in Australia for several years I decided the best avenue to communicate the intrinsic value of wild places and the incredible creatures that inhabit these regions was by showcasing them through film.
