Director Biography - Tanya Huston

Tanya Huston is definitely someone to keep an eye on as an emerging director. Her former experience as lead producer of step, comedy and talent shows, coupled with years of professional experience working on Wall Street, and then her training later as an actor, developed her eye for details, sharpened her skill to cohesively fuse various elements, and honed her ability to keenly understand and capture the essence of the moment.

Tanya is the writer of multiple short films which literally has been screened at festivals here in the United States and countries abroad. Her films such as Gramps' Moving On, Reckoning, and Get Over It have earned her awards and recognition.

This project 'BROTHERS', is the pilot episode to Tanya's first scripted web/television series. She is excited about its potential and enjoyed working with the talented cast.

Director Statement

This show touches on real life issues that family and also prominent church leaders encounter. These topics are often kept quiet and secret and this series digs deep into the human heart which often hides behind the facade. As being a part of this project, I hope to show that a person's sorted does not have to dictate their future.
