Brodie & the Duckworths
The Duckworth family finds an amazing, elf-like child in the forest, takes him home, and adopts him. All is rosy until an angry clan of "elves" shows up and takes him back. The Duckworths fear they've lost their little friend forever, but when hardened criminals kidnap him, the "elves" are forced to ask the hated Duckworths for help. A conflicted alliance is formed, and an epic adventure begins.
Log Line: When a lovable nerd takes his little family into the North Cascades National Forest, in the dead of night, through a foot of snow, to rescue a kidnapped elf, what could possibly go wrong?

My past experiences, though successful and diverse, are unrelated to film making. My retirement has simply afforded me the opportunity to pursue a lifelong interest in script writing.
I believe there's a need for more films that are family friendly (appropriate and truly enjoyable for all age levels), and I think this script meets that need.
