Broad Daylight Premiere
Andrew Gerstenblatt, a junior at Barrington High School, has been writing original screenplays and making films since the age of 9. "The Hero Within," his first film to be screened publicly, was included in the 2016 Youth Filmmaker's Showcase at the Providence Children's Film Festival. That same year, his film "A Boy's Dream" won the independent filmmaker award at the Give Me 5 Film Festival. In February of 2018, his short film "The Thing That Washed Up on The Beach" was selected for the Youth Filmmaker's Showcase at PCFF. His heist drama, "Broad Daylight," was screened the fall of 2018 at the All American High School Film Festival in New York City. Additionally, his music video, "The Homecoming Game" was an official selection of both the Give Me 5 Film Festival and the Rhode Island International Film Festival this year (2018).
