Bring Me Home

Bring me home, lord, where I came from
Bring me home to my salvation town.
Oh happy day, I’ve learnt how to trust,
In nobody’s home.

`Cause when I come to heaven’s crossroads.
I will stay at the right side of my lord.
Nobody asks me which way I go on,
`cause it’s the home of my soul.

Chorus
Woah lord, give me one last sign
Nobody knows when it’s our final time.
Give me hope, let me sip from your whine
To ever last that time.

Artist Statement

As a multiple scholarship holder for pop music I can now realize my music which I prepared for in my vocal studies for years. In my early years my dad and then later on Reinette van Zeijtfeld-Lustig, professor for Jazz-Vocals at the University for Music in Würzburg taught me the basis on singing, playing the violine and music theory. Also my music studies at the University for Music in Stuttgart (main subject vocals) lead me to music production and song-writing. Today aesthetics in lyrics and audio-visual expression are part of my art as well as moody feelings in my music. I see myself as a realist (girls`music teacher at the Mary-Ward-Secondary School in Munich) as well as a surrealist and love to play with both worlds. Being a motivation for others to live their dreams is my dream itself.

"Bring Me Home" is a gospel production with highly qualified and professional jazz musicians as Andre Schwager and Raoul Walton (Marius Müller-Westerhagen, Rainbirds etc). The sound includes a childrens' choir, which I recorded at the Mary-Ward Secondary School in Munich. For three years I am the conducter of the girls choir.
