Briana La Trise is an up-and-coming filmmaker from Canton, Ohio, who has a passion for telling stories centering on healing trauma with a psychological flair and spiritual depth. Currently, Briana is a freelance script reader and a Tourist Photographer. Her interest in filmmaking peaked in high school while in her sophomore drama course, creating her first film, Teenage Terror. Later, she graduated from Stark State College with a Video Production degree. There she won The Best Short Film/Director MERTL Award in 2010 for Poetic Kill. She then transferred to Cleveland State University and graduated with a BA in Film Production. Now, she has completed her first short film after college, Fame City. She continues to write several shorts, features, and a web series, ready to make her big directorial debut.
