Originally hailing from North Carolina, Breck currently resides and works in Appalachia. He is married to Nopparat, a Thai national with whom he collaborates on documentary projects.

Nopparat, a Thai director, originates from the Khlong Sam Wa district outside Bangkok. With a background deeply rooted in Thai traditional dance, she aspires to shed light on the lives of individuals on the fringes of society through her creative endeavors.
