I am an independent filmmaker and life-long journalist with a passion for nature, adventure, world cultures, music, the ocean, environmentalism, human rights and our connection to the planet and each other, with an element of spirituality.
In 2023 my direction changed as I was drawn to adventure sports: deep-sea-diving, specifically. I started making my own feature-films soon thereafter, upon embarking on my very first scuba diving adventures in the oceans of Okinawa. Upon experiencing some phenomenal encounters on my earliest dives, I decided to create feature films and this is the first pilot running up to that series. I continued documenting my diving journey and now produce ocean documentaries using an ethereal cinematography style in which I am the protagonist. I film, direct, narrate and produce these feature films.
Following this "Culture Cave Dives Deep" pilot, my series Breathing Underwater was discovered and selected by Amnesty International for their first English Film Festival taking place in Tokyo 2/2/2025. Breathing Underwater is the chosen feature film series for this event, in which I advocate for and illustrate environmentalism, a core human right. As the selected film director for this cause, I will be delivering the key note for environmentalism at Amnesty International.
