Canadian director Christina Estillore grew up in Alberta at the age of 24 enrolled at Marvel Beauty College. Upon graduation, Christina jumped into fashion and photography in order to build her portfolio. When her daughter Maya illustrated her passion for being in the spot light, Christina moved into stage and theatre productions, eventually ushering them both into film. After working as a crew member on several indie shorts, and a few features, this film is her romance debut. Christina will return to her passion of writing and directing, to work on her feature films "Hero" and "Something worth a Memory". Her main career goal is to direct a feature film for that will make people feel something, and want to watch over and over again.
I wrote and directed the script for this music, because I believe in the artists, and I felt their lyrics deserved to have a visual story in the form a short film style music video. I was able to tell a very true story that is relevant in the LGBTQ and entertainment world. Addressing issues such as the image we project, the secrets we keep and the fallout of the hidden truth. I am blessed to have Ursula Kelly as my DOP, and as a myself being the producer on this she challenged me and helped me to grow. I was surprised at how bod I was able to become, and my drive to rally and find solutions. It is our hope that this music video will be a calling card of our ability to produce a quality product in short amount of time, a limited budget, and support from the Edmonton Business community.
