Director Biography - Daniel Betancourt

Since a young age, Daniel has been drawn to the art of storytelling. He started very early on by creating little animations with stick figures on school notebooks, then using his parents camcorder, and windows movie maker to create tiny films. This early interest led me to a high school TV production class and, eventually, to pursue a Bachelor of Applied Science in Film, Television, and Digital Production at Miami-Dade College.

Director Statement

This student project was intended to reflect on the day to day efforts local athletes go through. Weighing in at a minute and sixteen seconds we follow local boxer Bryan Jimenez around for a day. We are very proud of this project as we did this with no budget and followed our vision to deliver the film you see today.
