"Breaking the Silence" seeks to humanize the stories of South Korea’s migrant laborers, presenting their experiences and aspirations to a global audience. As the founder of Project S.O.U.L, my mission was to delve deep into the unseen facets of labor exploitation and to bring the obscured narratives and voices into the limelight. The visuals and interviews in the film are intertwined to evoke empathy and a collective resolve. The journey towards migrant workers’ rights within South Korea is not only a journey of revelation but also responsibility, hoping to resonate and mobilize viewers towards advocating for labor equality and justice.
