Breaking Chains: Voices of Equity in Brazil
Implemented by the Brazilian government in 2012, the racial quota system in federal universities reserves spots for students of African or Indigenous descent in both public and private universities. As a result, there has been a 400% increase in Black students over the past decade. This is their story.
