Francisco Coronil He was born in Iquique where from an early age he showed interest in cinema. He being a Fan of horror and science fiction productions rented on VHS. He promptly dabbled in home movies. In 2000 he traveled to the capital to fulfill his dream, to study cinema, where he worked in various trades; he ventured as Director of Photography, Screenwriter, Camera, among others. For several years he has been an editor and producer on TV shows.
His debut film was the short film “Amanda” in 2016 Years later he made “Brilla”, a short film applauded at various festivals and second place winner of the 48 Hour film Project Santiago 2019 among other awards. His latest short film "Shit Shit" developed for the 48 Hour Film Project 2020 International, has had a lot of acceptance in digital media.
His films have been developed collectively, among friends and family and all have been developed in 48 hours from script to editing.
