Director Biography

Jeff graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theatre Performance and TV/Film Production at Michigan State University. Since moving to NYC in 1995, he has worked as an actor in numerous film, commercial and theatre productions in NYC and nationwide. As a Filmmaker he has made over a half dozen independent films in the metropolitan area and the majority of them have been accepted into numerous film festivals and have won awards. They include: The Tragedy of Sal, Charley V, Must Hurry!, Flights and Portals.

Director Statement

Jeff has always explored mobile filmmaking and has made numerous short films and fun videos with his smart phones over the years, but "Break In" marks his first professional narrative short film shot entirely on an iPhone Xs using filmic Pro, Moment lenses, Rode Video Microphones and other professional equipment.
