1st Verse:
We are one united voice among the darkest night
We are gathered here together, proving our dreams are shining bright
The God of Heaven has redeemed us and promises to bless
And I stand in awe proclaiming, that His promises are true
Bridge:
The time has come for us to be united, we've got to preach the word of God
It's time for everyone to witness, that our Savior walks with us
Chorus:
We've got to break down the walls, so we can reach every soul
With Jesus Christ as our center, together we will all enter, and be a blessing for all
As long as we stand united, in Faith we'll move all the mountains
Let us await for His coming, up in the Heaven's we'll find him, adore Him eternally
2nd Verse:
In our walk are many struggles, that we’ll have to face
But the Lord will always tell us, Do not be afraid
Bold and confident we march on, and we can clearly see
How His miracles are moving, many to His feet.
Bridge: (Intensified)
The time has come for us to be united, we've got to preach the word of God
It's time for everyone to witness, that our Savior walks with us
Chorus:
We've got to break down the walls, so we can reach every soul
With Jesus Christ as our center, together we will all enter, and be a blessing for all
As long as we stand united, in Faith we'll move all the mountains

I am 33 years old and was born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. From a very young age I fell in love with God, music, and singing. I never thought that I would be able to pursue singing as a career because I knew that I didn't want to sing secular music. As a child, it never occurred to me that I could be a Christian singer, and as I grew older I even stopped singing for some time because I grew critical of my voice and felt that my range was very limited. In 2013, God blessed me with my very first song while I was sitting in a class at the university I was attending. I was thinking about how hard and nerve wrecking life must be for people who don't know about God. I felt blessed to have the peace that God gives us, but sad to think that so many didn't share that same peace. At that moment, the song came to me in Spanish and I was able to translate it immediately after to English. After that, the songs just kept coming. I know that God is the real composer and definitely the inspiration behind every song. Even after having composed several songs, I never considered recording them because I still didn't think that it was possible for me. After a friend convinced me otherwise and helped me see that it was possible I began to dream that it could actually happen. At that time my church was going through a major transition from one location to another and there were many barriers they had to get through to attain the new property. I wanted to help in some way and began to create a song that could be sung by several of our singers at church and dreamed that we could create a video in which we could show the transition and special things that God was doing for our church. With God's blessing, it happened just like that and became the theme song for our church. That song is called "Romper las paredes" or "Break down the walls". The message in this song is about how we need to break down the walls of our church so that we can actually reach others. It was fixed on the message that sometimes as church we tend to huddle up and congregate amongst ourselves and do church together, when instead we should be the church outside our walls and reach those in need who do not know about Jesus. This message was preached by our pastor at the time and the message stuck with me. Since then, I have written more songs and have begun the process of recording my first CD. One of my biggest blessings is having the opportunity to be a part of Forest City Worship, which is the worship team at my church. Our worship leader, Denar Almonte, is the one who did the arrangement for "Romper las Paredes" and the one who is producing my CD. I am excited to continue the journey that God is taking me through and look forward to all of the doors that He will open and close according to His perfect will for my life.
Singing for and about my God is my passion. I want to share with the world what an amazing and loving Father He is, and that He has a home ready for us in Heaven so that we can live for eternity with Him.
