The Queen's Film Society is excited to host the Emerging Filmmaker's Film Festival, a unique opportunity to celebrate the fresh voices and creative talents in our community. This festival is dedicated to showcasing the work of aspiring directors, actors, and film crew members from across the Brazos Valley and beyond, offering them a chance to see their creations come to life on the big screen at our historic Queen Theatre.
On April 5, immerse yourself in a day of storytelling and artistry. The festival will feature a curated selection of short films created by emerging filmmakers, highlighting a variety of genres, styles, and perspectives. Attendees will have the opportunity to support local talent, connect with fellow film enthusiasts, and participate in discussions about the art and craft of filmmaking.
Whether you’re a seasoned cinephile or just curious to see the next generation of filmmakers in action, join us for an inspiring day of films, conversations, and community at The Queen Theatre.
This festival is intended for films that have already been completed.
Entries are limited to residents of the counties of Brazos, Burleson, Grimes, Leon, Madison, Robertson and Washington.
Awards and prizes will be announced later.
