An award-winning Israeli director, cinematographer, and editor.
His creative projects usually deal with subjects such as morality, family relationships, and conflicts between one's needs and the greater good.
The lyrics that Shaked wrote really touched my heart. As a military veteran, Shaked felt like he was forced into the position of the "hero", despite his fear of battle.
His story connected to a current dilemma in my brother's life, who was called for duty just after his first child was born - having to risk his life to defend the nation.
Together we managed to emerge both stories into the story of a father who unwillingly became a martyr, and a boy that had to inherit his place in the most difficult times.
