Hey, niña! What a character la niña has!
On many occasions, people have referred to them as “girls” (niñas), both on set and off it, and that unites them. That, and the fact that they were utterly fed up with being called "girls" when they
didn’t want to be anymore.
So, Lara and Andrea decided to take control of the term and make it their own, using it to name their directing duo: LA NIÑA.
An aesthetic vision that grabs attention and a narrative approach that always relies on a solid conceptual foundation. That’s the key—the concept—always in favor of the concept.
Lara, with her background in styling and years in directing, and Andrea, with her experience in agency work and as an art director, together they can speak the same language as the agencies, to
whom they propose ideas like one proposes starting a game: see if there's room to take the concept even further.
Their number is 13—not only the date of both their birthdays but also the day they presented their
first project together. And they won it.
They’ve worked for brands like Toyota, Netflix, Halls, Vogue, Danone, H&S and have pitched their ideas to agencies like Saatchi&Saatchi NYC, McCann, Ogilvy, DAVID, SCPF, El Ruso de Rocky.
Their first piece together, for the Ministry of Equality for 8 March, International Women's Day, was awarded Silver for Best Idea and Strategy at the CdeC awards and was nominated for Best Direction at this year’s El Sol festival.
