Brand New Personality - Bob Stetson - Directed By Annemarie Picerno

BRAND NEW PERSONALITY is a zany ride for an average cowboy bloke, whose beer and popcorn doesn't impress his girlfriend. From his t-shirt and jeans and couch, he is inspired by infomercials to get a "Brand New Personality" as well as deplete his bank account to win her heart. Will he change his ways to win her over, or will he find his true love? This uptempo country song is filled with humor and fun, and the new music video features Bob Stetson in multiple comic roles, as well as cameos by Nashville artists Annemarie Picerno, Alexandra Rowe and Edwin Coombs.

Brand New Personality was such a great song about how infomercials influence people to buy products with the hope to change or impress others, and I thought it would be a great idea to have Bob, the lead singer of the song play 8 different characters in a madcap twist where he not only plays himself, but the characters in the infomercials he watches on tv. The idea blossomed from that to the supporting characters also playing multiple roles, with these "personalities" all displaying how people feel forced to change for others to impress, but the end result, and what makes people happy is what is truly is in their hearts. Laughter and making fun of ourselves in times of stress is indeed the best medicine!
