Celebrate National Canadian Film Day with a showcase of Brampton films and videos on April 18, 2024 from 6:30 to 9:00 PM at SilverCity Brampton Cinema.

This will be our third annual Brampton Film Screening and Networking night. Join us to enjoy finished and in-progress work by your peers and connect with others also looking to grow the Brampton film scene.

This screening is for anyone in Brampton who works in the world of film, video, video arts, content creation and any other adjacent creative fields.

Selected films: Maximum of 10
Maximum length of film or video: 10 minutes
Receive $150 per accepted film.

Submissions will only be accepted from Brampton and/or Peel region filmmakers and creators. The submission cannot be longer than 10 minutes and can be any genre. Overall suitability of the submission for the screening will be considered in order to curate a variety of genres and film types. Films screened in previous Brampton Film Screening and Networking nights will not be considered.

Priority will be given to applicants who belong to equity-deserving groups, including those who identify as Indigenous, Black, People of Colour, 2SLGBTQIAP, Deaf, Disabled and intersections of those identities. Additionally, preference will be given to filmmakers who are able to attend the April 20th event in person.
